Welcome to this special edition of the X-Universe News.  We have
nothing  but great news for you. There has been much speculation for
some time about what Egosoft is currently working on.  Following hot
on the heels of the announcement and release of the "Uplink-Update" at
the close of 2007 we are able to unveil another of the Egosoft team's
"secret projects".  We are therefore very pleased to officially
announce that the story of the X Universe will continue in a new
chapter, tantalisingly named "X³: Terran Conflict".

We here on the X Universe News team have little else to go on right
now but we will, of course, inform you as soon as any more details
emerge. Stay tuned!
