well, it is easy for us to learn english since most of the english grammas are in logical pattern. but on the other hands,

some of the chinese words or grammas are not really follow the logical pattern. they have to memorise all the words or phases in order to understand chinese. (actually, cantonese may even more complicated.)

however, as far as i can see. more and more foreign people starting to learn chinese.
