First,the XTM MOD is really exciting,but not suitable for starter because of the great number of extension elements and more aggressive pirates and Xs.So I suggest you have a introduction in RE,then you`ll really enjoy the MOD.
Second,I don`t know if there are some upgrade on the trader AI because I`ve earned enough money before upgrading my game to the version 2.5.But I think pirates in RE is just a small case,if you don`t SETA too much.
Third，to use the explore software you shoud choose from the right panel,not just click on the sector map……
