Thanks for this! keymaker says it won't run on my version of OS X even though I'm running 10.5.8. any ideas?

Is this the new version specifically designed for Mac OS X or is it the commercial Cider port?

@ Kaitain: it's native. If it was a cider/wine port I would have mentionned it

Thanx 0x60000000. It would make sense to mention cider ports but people rarely do. Especially when it is an official, developer made port.

Oh, and the keygen worked fine for me. Too bad you can't use a sandbox vm to generate the key though since it appears to use your system id.

The game works marvelously. It looks better than the PC version in bootcamp.

try this: drag & drop the keygen on your desktop. control-click on it and browse into Contents. Open info.plist in TextEdit and change:
<key>LSMinimumSystemVersion</key>
<string>10.6</string>

to 10.4 or something

Hey thanks for the upload!!! I can start the keygen and it seems to work but it gives me a 32 character product key and X3 says I need a 34 character key. Should there be dashes or something somewhere? Thanks!

I've fixed keymaker, should not crash anymore and will run on OS 10.5.

Keygen fix doesn't work. at least for me. just opens for a split second, then closes with no error messages. re-did it myself, changing the string code, did the same thing.

Any tips?

Try to locate any message in logs or run it in terminal - this way you could find out more. In my case problem was nib file.

Solution for new version

After Upgrade to the latest version.

1. Mount ISO.

2. Show contents

Contents -> Resources -> Contemts1.zip

3. Extract all or pull X3 Terran Conflict.app (desktop).

4. In the newly extract file go to:

Contents -> Resources and Contents -> MacOS

COPY and REPLACE file RegDialog, RegDialog.nib, SecurityCocoaDialog.nib in a place where you installed the game.

5. Start game

6. DL latest update

7. Inside the patch. UpdatedFiles.zip -> move to the desktop

等我那天想开了....我自己动手吧....this7里貌似干了一点装着最后的文件...前半部分....就懒得搞了....反正现在一样用
把这一共多少G来着的游戏存储到其中两个账号管起来就省事了...
以前单个账户空间小~~只能分开太多用户~~现在2个账户应该就足够了
