Er...as far as I'm concerned, There is no "look up it" in Bird Language but only "look it up".

to do sth.是不定式,后面必须用look up这一完整动词词组；
后一句中up是副词，the word是名词，此时可以放在up前，也可以放在up后；
但it是代词，其位置只能在副词前面。所以look up it不正确。
